Once we have professionally edited the media, the video will be presented in .mp4 format (with 1080p resolution) and the images will be in .jpg format. You can then upload the video for your own distribution, and have the images printed yourself to match your wedding album, or framed photographs. If you would like different formats in order to do your own post-editing, please contact us.
No, we will not fly the drone inside a building with people inside. The only time we would operate a drone inside a building would be if it was first evacuated, and would require specialist planning and crowd control etc..
We will visit the location a day or so beforehand and conduct a drone flight in order to film the venue, in case we are unable to fly on the pre-booked date of the event due to bad weather. We can then use this footage, together with some high angle video panning shots (taken from our 30ft telescopic pole and remote stabilized camera system) to edit into the final video and make the absolute best video of the day.
Ideally, we like to cordon off at least 30ft of unobstructed, flat ground for both our primary and secondary landing sites. Caution tape, signage and ground crew will also be used if there is potential for people not involved in the operation to enter the areas.
