Fully qualified UAV Operator (with TP 15263 and ROC-A License) MRGC and HND in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications.
At the age of 16 Lee designed and built his own Radio Control system for model aircraft and quickly moved on to piloting and teaching RC Helicopter stunt flying for model air shows and demonstrations.
After qualifying as a Commercial Radio Officer, Lee spent 25 years installing and maintaining Radio and Satellite communications equipment, Radar Navigational Aids and Survey Instrumentation, before piloting and maintaining Unmanned Remote Vehicles for subsea intervention and aerial survey inspections for the Offshore Energy industry.
For the past 10 years, Lee has been a Worldwide Training Manager, developing curriculums and teaching Unmanned Remote Vehicle piloting and survey/inspection skills, together with Electronics, Telemetry Systems, Fibre Optics, Video Transmission and Hydraulic Principles, and is a certified Industrial Based HSE Training Instructor/Examiner.
Lee is also a Transatlantic Yachtmaster, accomplished Diving Instructor and Underwater Cameraman. He now lives with his wife Janet, in Summerside, PEI, and brings a wealth of skills to the Island.
Administrative Assistant and UAV Observer/Coordinator
Janet has assisted in company management and quality control over many years and has a very good understanding of the safety and operating procedures of UAV’s. She is fully licensed to operate Air Band transceivers in Canada and holds an ROC-A license.
She is experienced in organizing all ground operations and communications required for safe UAV operations and post-flight documentation/data analysis.
